WEATHERTECH SPORTSCAR CHAMPIONSHIP DRIVERS

  • Jeff Westphal

    The only American to ever win pole for the Nurburgring 24, veteran sports car driver Jeff Westphal brings his speed and experience back to the new-look Peregrine outfit in 2022. A number of impressive performances saw the 2019 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Champion achieve a sixth place finish in the IMSA WeatherTech Sprint Cup Championship with Peregrine in 2021. Westphal’s experience contesting the GTD Michelin Endurance Cup is a key piece of Peregrine’s attack on the full IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2022.

  • Robert Megennis

    With a podium finish at the fabled Motul Petit Le Mans in the closing round of 2021, Robert Megennis brings a full year of GTD Michelin Endurance Cup experience into a full-season ride with Peregrine in 2022. Still a college student, the driver from New York City boasts an impressive resume in open wheel and endurance machinery, with wins in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship and Indy Lights Championship to his name. He recently competed in the European Le Mans Series in the LMP3 class, finishing as high as fourth.

  • Corey Lewis

    30-year-old American Lamborghini veteran, Corey Lewis, who currently holds a role as a Development Driver and helped develop the Huracán GT3 EVO platform, has been racing and winning in Lamborghini GT cars since 2014. Over the past eight seasons, he has contested races with Lamborghini in IMSA, SRO, Lamborghini Super Trofeo (both Europe and North America) and the Asian Le Mans Series.

  • Sandy Mitchell

    Hailing from Scotland, Sandy Mitchell arrives at Peregrine as a full Lamborghini Factory Driver. Mitchell is a former Lamborghini Youngster Programme member, former Squadra Corse GT3 Junior, and became the youngest ever overall champion in British GT3 history in 2020. At 21 years of age, he’s been driving sports cars since 2016 and already achieved considerable success. Prior to his 2020 British GT3 title, he won races in the LST North America PRO class in 2019, including a win at the LST World Finals, and won in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup in 2018 and 2019.

MICHELIN PILOT CHALLENGE DRIVERS

  • Mark Siegel

    Competing in his fifth year of sports car competition as a driver, Mark Siegel is looking to steer his team forward. With a career best finish of fifth in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, he brings full focus on achieving wins and podiums to a new year, a new car, and a new season full of exciting challenges.

  • Tyler McQuarrie

    As the pro driver in Peregrine’s full-season Michelin Pilot Challenge lineup, seasoned pilot Tyler McQuarrie brings an extensive repertoire of multi-disciplinary driving skills to the team. The winner of the 2019 Michelin Pilot Challenge Grand Sport title with Peregrine, the champion’s career has spanned three decades thus far. After winning the Formula Russell title in 1998, he has contested a plethora of GT series, entered the Nascar West Series, hustled Stadium Super Trucks over jumps, and won two Formula Drift Pro events.

  • Tom Dyer

    Veteran Tom Dyer returns to Peregrine as the Pro Driver in Michelin Pilot Challenge, and full-time driver in SRO GT4 America. Having executed a stellar drive to help the team to fourth place in the Endurance Challenge at DAYTONA, he’ll compete in the IMSA SportsCar Weekend at Road America in August. A former USF2000 Champion, Dyer has been winning races for the better part of two decades. Having entered 145 races across different types of formula, stock car, and GT series, he brings both pace and experience to Peregrine’s IMPC program.

  • Sameer Gandhi

    After making huge strides in both Michelin Piot Challenge and SRO GT4 America competition last year, Sameer Gandhi returns for another season. The Californian is rejuvenated and looking to improve on last season’s results. Having started his sports car racing career in 2019, Gandhi has made stellar progress over the past two seasons and is excited to get behind the wheel of the GS Porsche.

  • Nolan Siegel

    Nolan Siegel is a precocious talent with the stated goal of driving professionally in IndyCar. Siegel returns for a second consecutive year of piloting GT4 machinery with Peregrine Racing in 2022, having already contested the marquee IMSA event of the year, the Rolex 24 at DAYTONA, in the LMP3 class. In addition to his sports car duties, he is currently competing in his maiden season of Indy Pro 2000. After scoring three podiums–including a win–in the final four races of the 2021 USF2000 campaign, Siegel made the jump to Indy Pro 2000 for 2022 and achieved a remarkable win at the challenging St. Petersburg street circuit in his second career start. He looks to continue his development as a driver and bring his winning touch to the Peregrine garage as the season unfolds.
